ROME, Ga. -- Rome Police are looking for a murder suspect who may be from metro Atlanta. The suspect is accused of shooting a man to death last month.
The incident happened Sunday, May 24 at around 1:45 a.m. on West 5th Avenue. Police said the suspect fired at a crowd of people, striking and killing Travious Floyd.
Witnesses told investigators the suspected shooter was on stage with Bandit Gang Marco at The Peach, a sports bar and dance club in the 400 block of Broad Street, earlier in the evening.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early to mid 20's, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a muscular build. He was seen getting out of a black late model Dodge Challenger with light-colored stripes.
Anyone who may have taken pictures or video at the club between May 23 at 11 p.m. and May 24 at 2 p.m. is encouraged to call the Rome Police Department at 706-238-5111.
