Berry College eaglet eggs hatch!

ROME, Ga. -- A new generation of Berry College Eagles has arrived!

At about 7:30 p.m. a new eaglet hatched in the nest watched by people the world over by way of a live camera.

Officials said viewers may catch a "chirp" if they listen closely.

This year's first egg arrived in early January.

On Sunday evening – Valentine's Day – the first egg hatched. A second egg hatched Monday shortly after 2 p.m.
