Air Force expected to fly in north Ga. air show
ROME, Ga. (AP) -- Next year's Wings Over North Georgia Air Show in Rome will feature an elite group of U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
A top-flight group of F-16 jets will perform stunts during next year's air show.
John Cowman, president of the air show, said this will be the first time the Thunderbirds will fly over the event.
Organizers expect about 75,000 people to flock to northwestern Georgia for the two-day event at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport on Oct. 12 and 13.
