ROME, Ga. -- The Rome Police Department is investigating the Children's Dentistry of Rome practice after a search warrant was issued on Thursday afternoon.

The search is being carried out by police and the Department of Health and Human Services of the Inspector General.

According to police, they have received multiple complaints from citizens about the business, including improper use of restraints and improper performance of dental work on minors and young children.

At this time, no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed. Children's Dentistry of Rome is located at 204 Redmond Drive.
