Mount Berry Church to celebrate 100 years | Events

ROME, Ga. -- Mount Berry Church at Berry College will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a special service on Sunday, Feb. 19.

The service will begin at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

Berry College founder Martha Berry worshiped at Mount Berry Church from the time it was built until her death in 1942; she usually sat in the front row of the balcony. Her goal was for Berry College to be a place where students could comfortably live, learn, work and worship.
