FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. -- Floyd County Police are searching for the man accused of robbing a gas station at gunpoint over the weekend.

The Citgo at the corner of Alabama Highway and Emerson Drive was robbed Sunday at around 2:20 p.m.

Floyd County Police Inv. Mary Catherine Parris said the suspect held a Citgo employee and a customer at gunpoint while demanding money from the register. He ran after receiving cash. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid to late 20's. He is about 6 feet tall and 175 to 190 pounds, and was wearing a Reebok jacket with a black hood, blue lower half and white stripes on the sleeves. Even though the suspect was wearing a mask, witnesses could tell he had a black eye. He was armed with a pistol.
