ROME, Ga. -- Three new events have been added to Rome's Spirits of the Civil War tour series.

The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau will team with Southern Paranormal Investigators to present evidence of paranormal activity throughout the former site of Fort Norton on Jackson Hill. This event will take place on Thursday, June 16.

Civil War enthusiasts will take to the water on Sunday, Oct. 23 to discover the significance of the waterways to Rome during the war. Troop transportation and defense blockades from the era will be explained while aboard the Roman Holiday.

On Thursday, Nov. 17, Farmers Bridge in Armuchee will feature a candlelight walking tour highlighting a battle between Federal and Union troops that left 10 Confederate men dead in May of 1864.

Tickets for any of the Civil War events are $5 for adults and $2 for children.
