ROME, Ga. -- The Berry College Office of Advancement and International Programs will host a Korean Lunar New Year Experience festival later this month.

The fun will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13 in Berry's Krannert Ballroom.

Attendees will sample Korean dishes, meet exchange students from South Korea and enjoy other New Year's traditions.

After the celebration, Ret. Commanding Gen. Larry Ellis will speak to those in attendance. Ellis served with the United Nations Command in South Korea and received a number of awards from the country, including the Korean Defense Service Medal and the Korean Cheon-Su Medal. He retired from the Army as a four-star general.

The Korean Lunar New Year Experience is free and open to the public.
